COVID-19 School Arrangements

Due to the COVID-19 virus and restrictions, schools across the UK and worldwide are temporarily closed to help slow the spread of the virus. We understand that a major concern for many parents will be that of their child's education and we can assure you that we are doing our best to ensure your child receives the best possible learning opportunities considering the current circumstances. 

FreshSteps has put the following arrangements in place for our pupils: 

  • 3 to 4 hours of LIVE online learning daily including: English, Maths, Science, ICT, PSE /wellbeing and PE. Our primary pupils online lessons also include phonics, spelling and handwriting
  • Access to online learning platforms - Reading Eggs, Mathletics and Readiwriter 
  • LIVE 1:1 online intervention sessions 
  • Online Art Therapy 
  • Face-to-face learning for our most vulnerable pupils or pupils whose parents are key workers 
  • All pupils have received home learning toolkits including home work packs that are taught by our wonderful teachers and resources such as drywipe boards /pens and basic stationary
  • Laptops for our most vulnerable pupils
